The Striker Titan: Brute force, masters of war, a powerful combination of strength and skill.
Titans are the most heavily armored and the most direct of the three Classes. They assault fortified enemy positions head-on, utilizing their mastery of the Light to shield and protect themselves and their allies… or to destroy their adversaries.
Titans begin with the Striker specialization, unlocking Defender at Level 15.
The Titans’ Striker specialization focuses on Arc energy, offering offensive bonuses to melee strikes and devastating Fist of Havoc super.
Striker is particularly potent on close-quarters arenas or confined PvE missions. Maximizing Strength and Intellect lets you capitalize on Striker’s two greatest strengths: Storm Fist and Fist of Havoc.
In situations where close-range combat is difficult, impossible, or inadvisable, consider shifting your stats around to emphasize Discipline to a greater degree. Doing so allows you to either make extensive use of Flashbang grenades to disorient your foes, or rapidly throw high-damage Arc grenades.

- Armor: Increases the amount of damage you can take before dying.
- Recovery: Increases the speed at which you regain lost health.
- Agility: Increases your movement speed and maximum jump height.
- An Insurmountable Skullfort, though comparable to Helm of Inmost Light , this helm provides more health regenerating options.
- Helm of Inmost Light is a must-own for Striker’s who want DPS-focused perks. This helm focuses on maximum damage output and will make you even more deadly.
- The Eternal Warrior helmet is coming out in the House of Wolves expansion, and will provide Unstoppable for Fist of Havoc.
- The Armamentarium has perks centered around carrying more, which is extremely versatile. An additional grenade, with more heavy and special ammo means you’re a walking armory, ready to throw some serious punches.
- Crest of Alpha Lupi chest is one for those that love team oriented play, and is subclass-neutral. While it won’t be incredibly useful in the raid, this chest piece really holds its own in 3v3 and Strikes.
- Ruin Wings, another subclass-neutral Exotic, provides plenty of heavy ammo drops more often, which is obviously a huge help in PvE.
- The ACD/0 Feedback Fence gauntlets are from the upcoming House of Wolves expansion, and they damage anyone in a small area around you when you take melee damage.
- The Mk. 44 Stand Asides increase the duration of Shoulder Charge, making it an ideal choice for the Crucible.
- The Peregrine Greaves, which are to be released in the House of Wolves Expansion, increase the damage that Shoulder Charge does while you are in the air. Since it is a one-hit kill in the Crucible, these will be geared more towards PvE play.
Fist of Havoc is your super ability that causes a ton of Arc energy to erupt in a sphere around you. This ability can be executed very quickly.
While you can be killed during its activation, it’s difficult and often you opponent won’t have nearly enough time to do so. FoH will provide you with damage resistance while it’s charging up.
Fist of Havoc leaves a damage-dealing field in its wake.
Aftermath causes FoH to leave a field of Arc damage on the ground after the initial ground smash. This field deals four pulses of 140 damage each, making it ideal for area denial in PvP or clustered targets in PvE.
Like the Pulse grenades, people are able to avoid this effect by jumping out of it.
Death From Above
After jumping, you can aim Fist of Havoc at enemies below.
This will allow you to aim FoH in midair, targeted in the direction that your camera is pointing, greatly increasing your mobility options. To drop straight down, which is useful if you know foes are directly below you, just keep your movement sticks neutral.
Fist of Havoc unleashes a wave of devastating energy that travels along the ground.
This is instantly fatal to any targets in PvP and will dish out heavy damage in PvE. A Striker’s Shockwave can easily result in multi-kills if you manage to catch a group with a blast, and then finish off any remaining ahead of you.
Use Shockwave to deal damage without exposing yourself fully.
A punishing melee attack that deals bonus damage.
Storm Fist is an Arc-charged melee strike that hits harder than a normal melee, dealing 110 damage.
Hits with Storm Fist have a chance to immediately reset its cooldown.
Overload can potentially allow you to execute multiple Storm Fists with full damage repeatedly.
Melee as much as you can until it fails to trigger, then back off and wait for it to refresh.
Hits with Storm Fist have a chance to deal area-of-effect damage around the target.
Discharge can increase your damage output when fighting clumps of enemies.
There’s only a chance for this to trigger, so consider sticking with Amplify or Overload.
Kills with Storm Fist significantly reduce the cooldown of Fist of Havoc.
On an Intellect or Intellect/Strength build, Amplify fits in well to give you even more energy for Fist of Havoc. Don’t try to force a melee finish, but whenever you ambush an enemy and open fire first, you can often safely finish with melee.

- Look for chokepoints to maximize FoH’s lethality.
- Focus points like Wards and heavy ammo can be used against the enemy team, as they are more vulnerable to Fist of Havoc.
- Sprinting for at least two seconds activates Shoulder Charge.
- Use Pulse grenades against clustered enemies in tight spaces & to block an objective area.
- With a Discipline or Intellect-focused build, you can lay down damaging fields more frequently.
- Catapult gives you a good surge of speed when you initiate your Lift.
- Transfusion, very important for a Strength-focused build, immediately gives you a slight 10 point heal plus 1.5 seconds of health regen.
