If you remember back to before the Game Developers Conference, we saw an article that shed light on Umbra 3′s integration into Destiny (Article here). Many didn’t catch it when it aired, but Bungie’s Hao Chen and Umbra’s Otso Mäkinen then held a joint presentation at GDC. A few days ago Umbra finally put the presentation on their website for all to see.
There is a lot of technical jargon in the presentation, but an interesting watch nonetheless.

The presentation delves into how Bungie is taking full advantage of Umbra’s visibility solution in it’s upcoming megagame Destiny.
