Try your luck with the Exotic Engram – you’ll have a chance at new Exotics!
Designed to allow you to stay stationary for awhile. Being aware of your surroundings while being hidden from your enemies is a deadly combination.
Should I buy it?
While arguably not as useful as Ice Breaker in PvE, it still holds its own.
The cloaking ability is a defensive perk. As they say, a good defense makes a great offense, and that’s exactly what the cloak will do for you.
It’s worth using the weapon for this unique ability alone, since it allows you to do much more with it than you may be used to. And for PvP, it’s an absolute monster, due to the incredible stability and quick RoF.
Stats Compared to Other Snipers
- Above Average: Stability, Range
- Below Average: Impact, Reload Speed
- Third Eye: Radar stays active while aiming down this weapon’s sights.
- Patience and Time: You gain active camouflage while aiming down the sights.
Great for groups, but for solo play, this Exotic is completely outclassed since its main benefits are entirely wasted. These ranked in tier 2 for our Titan Exotic PvP & PvE list.
It’s got a good 157/165 Intellect roll, while the new max is 197.
- Auto Rifle Ammo – Increases the amount of Auto Rifle ammunition you can carry.
- Special Weapon Ammo – Increases the amount of Special Weapon ammunition you can carry.
- Keeper of the Pack – You revive fallen teammates faster, and they revive you faster. Your Super also spawns additional orbs for teammates.
Should I buy it?
Crest of Alpha Lupi (subclass-neutral) has perks very similar to the Hunter’s Crest of Alpha Lupi. They’re both for those Guardians that love team-oriented play. While it won’t be incredibly useful in the raid, this chest piece really holds its own in 3v3 and Strikes.
It makes any resurrection near instant (1 second from 1.6), and is wonderful for those clutch saves. The additional Orbs aren’t that noticeable unfortunately; only about 1-2 extra.
Depending on how much Intellect you get, the cooldown for your Ward of Dawn or Fist of Havoc could be greatly reduced.
Is it worth using in everyday play? Is it better than The Armamentarium? Probably not, but use it when you know you’ll make use of its perks, like in Trials of Osiris.
Its unique ability will add an extra shot to your Golden Gun, arguably the best Gunslinger PvP helm.
They’ve got an average 113/120 Discipline roll – the new max is 149.
- Fastball – Increases grenade throw distance.
- Ashes to Asset – Replenish Super energy when you kill an enemy with a grenade.
- Last Man Standing – Golden Gun gains one additional shot per use.
Should I buy it?
This is easily one of the best Exotic helmets for a Gunslinger in both PvP and PvE. If you’re a Gunslinger without Exotic armor, definitely grab it.
Increasing you grenade throw distance is a great help, as it will better your chances of getting grenade kills, which will boost you Super energy charge rate, which then brings you back for more Golden Gun action.
The helm will increase your Discipline as well, decreasing grenade cooldown time, which meshes well with the two other perks. This will help you get grenade kills further away, and if you’re able to kill enemies with your grenades, you can use your Super a little quicker.
Its unique perk is one of the most reliable ways to do more damage, and should usually result in at least 1 more kill in PvP.
This marks the first time he’s sold these awesome gauntlets!
They’ve got an average roll with 49 Intellect and 68 Discipline, both maxing out at 76.
- Energy Projection – Increases grenade throw distance.
- Innervation – Reduces grenade cooldown each time you pick up an Orb of Light.
- Scatter Charge – Enables tracking for Scatter Grenades. Hold an extra Scatter Grenade charge.
Should I buy it?
You’ll buy it regardless of my suggestion. But are they any good?
Energy Projection allows pinpoint precision in placing these pesky projectiles, and Innervation is a situationally useful way of regenerating Grenade Energy quickly in an orb-heavy fireteam.
Intellect/Discipline split-stat is possibly the best any Voidwalker could ask for, granting that all-important Super regeneration buff while still giving you some Discipline toward earning your now scary-good Scatter Grenades back that much faster.
The only downside is that they force you into using Scatter Grenades, and are thus build-restrictive. The “tracking” isn’t extreme, and we’ll have a video review of these soon to properly show the range.
In short: They’re good!
