New Taken King Weapon Perks

The following are new perks found exclusively on the new Taken King weapons. We’ll have a mini-review of these perks soon.

This list will not include the sights/scopes or the new unique Exotic perks.

You can see these perks for yourself by checking out any of the new weapons.

Raid Perks

These are exclusive to raid weapons:

COCOON
When stowed for a short time, this weapon is automatically reloaded from your reserves.

WILL OF LIGHT (Intrinsic)*
This weapon deals bonus damage against Taken enemies.

*This perk appears on other weapons as well, but is not attributed to them by default.

Primary

DANGER CLOSE
This weapon gains increased reload and handling when two or more enemies are in close proximity.

SURROUNDED
This weapon gains bonus damage when three or more enemies are in close proximity.

RELENTLESS TRACKER
Kills with this weapon grant enhanced motion tracker resolution for a short time.

EXHUMED
This weapon gains improved range and handling for a short time after revival.

PARTIAL REFUND
Chance to return a portion of the magazine after an assist.

LAST RESORT
This weapon handles and reloads faster when the wielder is the last living player of their Fireteam.

SWORD OF AEGEUS
This weapon deals bonus damage against Vex Minotaurs.

MALLEUS MALEFICARUM
This weapon deals bonus damage against Hive Wizards.

WILL OF LIGHT
This weapon deals bonus damage against Taken enemies.

HANNIBAL
This weapon deals bonus damage against Cabal Centurions.

MUTINY
This weapon deals bonus damage against Fallen Captains.

GUERRILLA FIGHTER
Increased accuracy, handling and damage resistance when shooting this weapon from behind cover.

LIFE LEECH
Three rapid kills with this weapon heals a small amount and starts health regeneration

RESCUE MAG
Chance to refill this weapon’s magazine when critically wounded.

UNDERDOG
This weapon gains a boost to range and handling when health is low.

EYE OF THE STORM
This weapon becomes more accurate as your health gets lower.

LIFE SUPPORT (Updated)
Kills with this weapon while critically wounded have a chance to start regenerating health.

Special

These perks are exclusive to the following Special weapons:

BOUNCER (Exclusive to Immobius)
Kills inside Ward of Dawn with Armor of Light do not expend ammo.

SELF SPOTTER (Exclusive to Stillpiercer)
Increased radar resolution when this weapon is equipped.

PERFECTIONIST (Exclusive to Stillpiercer)
Magazine is refunded if all shots fired are precision kills.

ELEMENTAL TRANSFUSION (Exclusive to Susanoo)
Causing damage with subclass abilities will transfuse that damage type to this weapon for a period of time.

Sword (Legendary)

TEMPERED LIGHT
Increased Armor when wielding the sword.

SCABBARD
Increases Sword Ammo Capacity

VOID-FORGED GUARD
Use to guard. Effective against Arc and Solar attacks, less effective against Void attacks.

SOLAR-FORGED GUARD
Use to guard. Effective against Arc and Void attacks, less effective against Solar attacks.

ARC-FORGED GUARD
Use to guard. Effective against Solar and Void attacks, less effective against Arc attacks.
