Celebrate with Bungie!

This article can also be found at Bungie.net

The launch of Destiny is imminent. For years, we’ve been dreaming of a world where you would be a unique hero. As those dreams become a reality, we’d love to celebrate with you.

The development of Destiny has been a long journey. So many of you have come along with us for what has been one hell of a ride. At the end of that road, some of you may find what you’ve been looking for in our studio.

You’re invited to be our guest, right here at Bungie. We’re throwing our doors open wide. Come and see where we work. Meet the people who have prepared Destiny for launch. Put your skills to the test in our arena. While you wait for your turn, anything can happen. It is, after all, a public event.

When: Monday, September 8th
How long: Noon – 5:00 PM
Who: All are welcome
Why: Because you’re awesome
Where: Bungie
550 106th Avenue
Bellevue, WA 98004
Parking: Galleria Garage
(public transportation recommended)

The first 300 attendees stand a good chance of touring our studio and stepping into the Crucible for a match of competitive multiplayer action. The first 1,000 people in line won’t leave empty-handed. Everyone who attends can enjoy the fun and surprises that we have planned.

This will be a day of celebrating the vivid community that will bring the world of Destiny to life. Come and pay us a visit before the real party begins.

I’m in Canada eh. Sucks it to far away to go.

      • Yhgi117

Yeah, but there is a pro to living here. As Aussies, we cross into Tuesday before most countries. Meaning at our Midnight launch of Destiny, we get it first.

    • I wish I was back in Australia

  • Brit Lewis

    Other side of the country.

Cool, what state if I don’t mind asking? I live in NJ for that mutual trust

      • Brit Lewis

        Ohio, mutual trust appreciated.

        • Squatchmen

Nah dude, you’re practically in tornado alley compared to where I am, lol

          • Brit Lewis

If some ways yes but in others it’s still pretty far, so are you playstation or xbox and what edition are ya getting if you don’t mind me asking

  • twitchy-mc

I hate to say it but they should have gave a months notice. I see a lot of locals attending and then people who have the spare cash and time to fly out or drive out. I for one dont have the money or the time to go on this short notice.

I am pretty sure if they gave a month advanced notice that they would have most of Seattle shut down as if it were a convention. Probably smarter and safer this way.

Sweet, too bad I’m on the other side of the country as well….. womp womp
