love how bungie is giving xbox owners only four days of playtime while PS got alpha for a week and ten days of beta. Its not like MS funded bungie and the xbox fans did too or anything…

    • WSquared88

A lot of people are throwing around the same argument. I do feel hurt, but it’s not Bungie calling the shots here. From my prior experience and insider knowledge Activision is being paid by Sony to get Bungie to have exclusive stuff for Destiny. If we should be mad at anyone we should be mad at Activision or Sony. I for one am going to be sending good tidings to Bungie for everything they have done and everything they will do because I know that they are trying their hardest.

    • Cody Forsberg

A week of Alpha? Since when?

      • DrowningFish

The Alpha got extended a little bit but it wasn’t quite the same experience.

    • DrowningFish

I do play all consoles but one thing no one ever feels the need to mention is that Bungie made only PC games years ago and did ok (and MS didn’t fund them then) they then made Halo on xbox and became famous. Now they are releasing a multi-Plat game but have almost Zero fanbase on Sony consoles. Since activision is so invested in Destiny they want it to sell so they make money and one way to do that is to build a Sony fanbase so it sells on both consoles. Lastly the other half of the deal is that Xbox still gets early access to COD DLC.

      • chris

I understand the sony fanbase side of it but at the same time it’s kinda like bungee/activision saying “oh MS users you have supported us and helped us as well as fund our destiny project so here’s our thanks *four days of beta* have fun” kind of a slap to the face to their fans at least give xbox owners the same play time

        • DrowningFish

Yea a bit more Beta access for the other side of the house would be a bit more fair. MS also took Halo from them since Bungie wanted to move on and MS wanted to milk Halo so Bungie could still be a bit upset about that as well. Keep in mind they extended the Alpha so there are good odds that they will extend the Beta for all involved!

  • Noles93

At least Destiny isn’t a PS4 exclusive like Halo was for Xbox 😉 I’m grateful to be playing at all

  • Squatchmen

    Ghost edition is mine

  • Sinthes

will the ghost edition be available at Canadian eb games or is it an amazon exclusive ? and if it will be when can i pre order it ?

    • Noles93
